CLOUD & INFRASTRUCTURE
Infrastructure built around what needs to run.
MindWorks designs, deploys, migrates, and manages cloud infrastructure for websites, business applications, customer portals, and software platforms that need a reliable production environment.
CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE
From $3,500
A GOOD FIT
When the infrastructure becomes part of the application.
Infrastructure matters when a business depends on more than a basic hosting account. Applications, integrations, databases, deployment workflows, backups, security, and production environments need to work together as one operating system.
01
You are launching a business application
The application needs production hosting, data services, backups, deployment, monitoring, and a reliable environment.
02
The current server has become a limitation
Capacity, software versions, reliability, security, management, or deployment requirements have outgrown the existing environment.
03
Nobody owns the infrastructure
Servers, DNS, backups, certificates, deployments, and monitoring are spread across vendors without clear technical responsibility.
04
Deployments are risky
Production changes are manual, inconsistent, difficult to roll back, or performed directly on the live system.
05
Backups exist but recovery is unclear
The business needs a defined backup and restore strategy rather than simply assuming a backup exists somewhere.
06
The environment needs to evolve
New applications, integrations, traffic, environments, data, or operational requirements require a more deliberate architecture.
INFRASTRUCTURE CAPABILITIES
Build the environment around what the workload requires.
The right infrastructure may be simple or distributed. MindWorks focuses on appropriate architecture rather than adding complexity for its own sake.
01 / CLOUD
Cloud Infrastructure
Design the computing, networking, data, storage, routing, and production services required to run an application or business platform.
02 / HOSTING
Application Hosting & Deployment
Create production environments for business applications, portals, APIs, services, and other workloads that require more than standard website hosting.
03 / MIGRATION
Cloud & Server Migration
Move websites, applications, databases, and supporting services to a new environment with a planned transition and validation process.
04 / DEPLOYMENT
Deployment Workflows
Introduce controlled release processes, environments, versioned application deployment, and appropriate rollback paths.
05 / DATA
Databases & Storage
Configure and connect the data services, persistent storage, backups, and access patterns required by the workload.
06 / MANAGEMENT
Managed Infrastructure
Continue monitoring, maintaining, deploying, backing up, and managing the production environment after the initial infrastructure project.
INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECTURE
Production is a stack, not a single server.
A reliable production environment depends on several layers working together. The architecture should make each layer's responsibility clear without creating unnecessary complexity.
01 / EDGE
DNS, Routing & TLS
Direct traffic to the correct environment and manage the public entry points, certificates, and routing required by the system.
02 / COMPUTE
Application Runtime
Servers, containers, services, application processes, or other compute required to execute the workload.
03 / DATA
Database & Persistent Storage
Data services and persistent storage designed around the application's durability, access, and recovery needs.
04 / DEPLOYMENT
Release & Environment Control
Development, staging, production, deployment, configuration, and controlled release workflows.
05 / RECOVERY
Backups & Restore
Protect important application data and configuration with a defined backup and recovery approach.
06 / OPERATIONS
Monitoring & Visibility
Provide visibility into availability, failures, resource health, certificates, logs, and the production environment.
ENVIRONMENTS & DEPLOYMENT
Production should not be the testing environment.
The appropriate environment model depends on the application, but separating development, validation, and production reduces unnecessary risk and gives changes a controlled path to release.
01
Development
Build and test active changes without making production the working development environment.
02
Staging / Validation
Validate releases, integrations, configuration, migrations, or deployment behavior before production cutover.
03
Production
Maintain the customer-facing or operational environment separately with production configuration, monitoring, and backups.
04
Deployment
Define how approved application versions and configuration move between environments.
05
Configuration & Secrets
Keep environment-specific credentials and configuration separate from application code where appropriate.
PRODUCTION READINESS
Plan for what happens when something goes wrong.
Infrastructure is not reliable simply because it is in the cloud. Recovery, visibility, access control, and operational ownership need to be deliberately designed.
01 / BACKUPS
Recoverable Data
Define what needs to be backed up, where backups are kept, and how important data can be restored when required.
02 / MONITORING
Operational Visibility
Monitor the parts of the environment that matter so failures do not depend entirely on a customer discovering them.
03 / ACCESS
Controlled Access
Limit administrative access and structure credentials, keys, accounts, and permissions around actual operational needs.
04 / RECOVERY
Failure & Recovery Planning
Define how the environment can be restored, redeployed, or returned to a known state after a significant problem.
THE PROCESS
Design the environment around the workload.
Infrastructure starts with what the application, users, data, integrations, and operational team actually require - not with choosing services from a cloud dashboard.
Understand The Workload
Review the application, traffic, data, integrations, environments, security needs, deployment, and existing infrastructure.
Design The Architecture
Define compute, networking, data, storage, environments, backups, access, deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
Build & Deploy
Provision the environment, configure services, deploy the workload, connect dependencies, and establish operational controls.
Test & Transition
Validate the application, access, DNS, data, backups, monitoring, deployment behavior, and production readiness.
STARTING INVESTMENT
Infrastructure scope follows the workload.
Pricing depends on architecture, migration requirements, environments, networking, data, deployment, backups, integrations, and operational complexity.
CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE
From $3,500
Design and deploy a production cloud environment for applications, portals, APIs, services, or business platforms.
CLOUD / SERVER MIGRATION
From $2,500
Move an existing workload to a new server or cloud environment with planning, migration, validation, and controlled cutover.
MANAGED INFRASTRUCTURE
From $750/mo
Ongoing technical management of production infrastructure, monitoring, backups, deployment, maintenance, and operational oversight.
MANAGED INFRASTRUCTURE
Someone should own the production environment.
Once a business depends on the infrastructure, it needs more than an initial setup. MindWorks can remain responsible for the environment's ongoing technical operation.
Environment Management
Ongoing oversight of the production cloud or server environment and its core services.
Monitoring
Visibility into relevant infrastructure and application health indicators.
Backup Oversight
Maintain and review the backup approach required by the managed environment.

FAQ
Before building custom software.
Which cloud platforms do you work with?
MWorks works with cloud and server environments appropriate to the workload, including platforms such as AWS and DigitalOcean. The platform is selected around the application's technical and operational requirements rather than using one provider for every project.
Do we need AWS for every application?
No. AWS can be appropriate for environments that need its services and architecture, but many applications can operate effectively on a simpler platform. MWorks prefers the least complicated architecture that meets the actual requirements.
Can you manage infrastructure you did not build?
Often, yes. Existing environments need to be reviewed first so MWorks can understand the architecture, access, dependencies, current condition, backup strategy, and responsibilities before taking over management.
Are cloud-provider fees included?
Infrastructure design, implementation, and management pricing covers MWorks' agreed services. Ongoing cloud, storage, bandwidth, database, third-party monitoring, or other provider usage is generally separate.
Does cloud hosting mean the system cannot go down?
No infrastructure is immune to failure. Cloud platforms provide building blocks for reliability, but the actual behavior depends on the architecture, application, dependencies, redundancy, backups, deployment practices, and operational management.
Can you migrate our existing server?
Yes. Cloud and server migration is a separate MWorks service starting from $2,500. The migration scope depends on the applications, databases, domains, storage, services, dependencies, and cutover requirements involved.
